Threat as one of the ways to implement a criminal plan to drive to suicide

The article is devoted to such a method of driving to suicide as threats. It is noted that Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Driving to suicide» indicates the commission of a crime by threats without specifying which ones. On the one hand, the lack of specification leads to an overly broad interpretation and a surplus of criminal repression. On the other hand, the legislator has attempted to criminalize all types of threats that caused suicide. In this regard, the question arises: are all threats equally dangerous? Which should be criminalized and which should perhaps be differentiated? To address this issue, the article analyzes in detail the threats existing in the criminal legislation.
