The threat to murder or inflict grievous bodily harm: current problems associated with the decision to open or not to open a criminal case

This article discusses the problems associated with the decision-making when considering the presence or absence of corpus delicti specified in the Art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the threat of murder or inflicting grievous bodily harm). Also, the author gives his interpretation of the existing situation associated with the criminal decisions when assessing the reason and grounds for opening a criminal case.
