Threats To Russia’s National Security from Extremist Manifestations: Severity, Conditions of Occurrence and Forms of Manifestation

The article carries a thorough analysis of the problem of extremism and terrorism as one of the significant factors threatening national security and integrity of the Russian state. The authors reveals eternal economic, socio-political, ideological and external causes of extremist manifestations, their influence on many spheres of life of Russian society and emphasizes that counteraction to extremism and terrorism is a complex and multifaceted task requiring consolidation of efforts of the state, civil society and each citizen.
