Ulyanovsk automobile plant: child of war

It is impossible to imagine the history of Ulyanovsk without realizing the role of industrial enterprises. Their destiny defined the destiny of the city. One of the most prominent city enterprises has always been Ulyanovsk automobile plant - since the very moment of its foundation as a result of evacuating industrial enterprises during the Great Patriotic War. The author considers the decision on constructing the plant as the starting point of the modern history of the city, as well as the first step towards the industrialization and urbanization of the region.
