The study included 260 patients with various benign proliferative breast lesions. Ultrasound examination was found to be a highly effective method for detecting breast cancer with sensitivity rates 100 and 90±2.6%, respectively. Specific ultrasound criteria for detecting cancer were identified. Differential criteria and diagnostic algorithm for breast lesions were devised.
