Ultrasound diagnosis of pelvic floor muscle dysfunction in women

The aim of the study was to use the method of intravaginal ultrasound, developed in our institution, for diagnosis of insufficiency of the pelvic floor in women, for predication of outcome and evaluation of surgical treatment response. The study elucidated the urethrovesical complex and urinary bladder ultrasound parameters and evaluated their dynamic changes in women during the postsurgical treatment period. Objectives: The detection of ultrasound parameters of the state urethrovesical complex and bladder ultrasound evaluation of the dynamics of traits under the supervision of women in the postoperative period. As a result, the algorithm of examination of patients with insufficiency of the pelvic floor muscles, developed numerical values of parameters, produced by monitoring the parameters in the postoperative period.
