Intensive exploitation of the machine and tractor fleet of the agro-industrial complex inevitably leads to an increase in the rates of its wear and the occurrence of complex failures. The main factors that have a significant effect on the technical state of mobile energy facilities, their location in operable and serviceable conditions are singled out. The process of coagulation and sedimentation of additives, which are contained in engine oils, is considered. It has been established that the key factor determining the stability of the additive solution in motor oil is the size of their particles. The most advantageous method of dispersion is the use of ultrasound. The influence of ultrasonic dispersion on the performance properties of engine oil on a mineral basis is shown. It was found out that the optimum mode of treatment of motor oil M-10G2 by ultrasound is the time of sounding equal to 60 minutes, as a result of which its washing and antiwear properties are significantly improved.
