Improving reading skills of primary school students based on PIRLS criteria

The article is aimed at developing the ability to read texts in the following ways: find information in a given text, draw conclusions about the text, generalize and analyze information, and also evaluate the text. The reforms and initiatives undertaken in our country to enhance the reading culture among young people, especially among primary school students, are commendable.
