The universal and ethnical in A.Artaud's artistic word perception

The article examines special aspects of artistic world perception of ethnic images and ritual in underexplored texts by Artaud, dealing with his trip to tarahumara tribe. The author analyzes the artist's original exegesis of universal and ethnical symbolism of visions and reveals individual content of mythological visions, gestures aiming at forming Theatre of cruelty ideas. The impressions embraced by Artaud are interpreted by the author as a guide to a way of reaching one's own integrity. The author determines the artistic distinctness of Tarahumara texts as a kind of human script which confirms forming the personal Artaud's myth.
