The university statutes of the first half of the XIXth century: historiographic analysis

The values and roles of university statutes of the first half of the XIXth century are considered by the researchers of different historiographic periods: pre-revolutionary, Soviet and modern. The authors observe the changes in the approaches of historians to the consideration of organization of educational process and management of universities of this period.
