Management consulting in the context of ensuring innovative development of the region

The subject of this article is the study of the influence of the level of development of the innovative component of regions and states in general, as well as the practice of using management consulting, on the level of development of regions and ensuring the innovative development of the country as a whole. The results of the analysis are confirmed by examples of the achievements of countries that are in the top positions in the rankings in the field of innovative development and management consulting. The purpose of this article is to identify the features and approaches to the formation of the influence of the level of development of the innovative component of the regions and the country as a whole, as well as the use of management consulting and consulting services, on the level of development of the regions and ensuring the innovative development of the country as a whole; determination of the main conditions for the formation of the practice of using management consulting in the context of ensuring the innovative development of the region. The methodology of this study included analytical and comparative approaches, methods of synthesis, induction and deduction, formal-logical, systemic, integrated and logistic approaches. The result of the work was the author’s analysis of the characteristics and approaches to the formation of the influence of the level of development of the innovative component of the regions and the country as a whole, as well as the use of management consulting tools and the involvement of professional consultants on the level of development of the regions and ensuring the innovative development of the country as a whole; determination of the main conditions for the formation of the practice of using management consulting in the context of ensuring the innovative development of the region; the author’s proposal for an approach to the formation of an integrated mechanism of state management of the innovative development of the region and the introduction of this approach at the regional level; formulation of conclusions on the subsequent directions of improvement and implementation of management consulting tools in the context of ensuring the innovative development of regions and countries in general. The scope of the research results includes the public administration system. The findings of the study can be applied to improve management, legal regulation and practice of using management consulting in the context of ensuring the innovative development of the region.
