Bank's risk management: lending for corporate clients in the pandemic period

The article is devoted to the study of the impact of Pandemic Covid-19 to corporate customers and middle market companies financing approaches. We confirmed risks that companies and banks have in a time of disease spreading. There are some underwriting criteria to be defined for lending middle market customers due to real bank's «risk-appetite» in line with the corporative strategy. The main conclusions are made: bank estimating approaches to financial standing of the companies become more conservative in a time of Pandemic due to new risks that are pandemic and isolation effects.
