The article is devoted to the study of the methodology of human resource management in the context of the resource approach concept, which helps to trace the relationship between the firm's competitiveness and the unique components of human capital -skills, knowledge, creative abilities of employees. The quality of human resources affect the value of a company, while these resources directly depend on the method of managing them, which is based on the creation of conditions for self-education and development of staff competencies. The article also presents the results of the study of the human resources management system in the research company Mediascope, which has the characteristics of a self-learning organization.
