To accomplish the objectives of the study, the main trends related to the concept of talent management were described and the origins of this management paradigm were determined. The stages of the talent management system in the company were analyzed. The need to update the need for talent management in a modern organization has been identified. The author's definition of the definition of "talent management" is given. Problems of using the talent management system in the context of digitalization have been identified.
