Innovation is considered as one of the key factors of competitiveness both at the level of national economies and at the level of the business system. Competitiveness has become an imperative for existence and prosperity, and the possession of this advantage has become a common denominator for all business systems in the world. In addition to the impact of price, quality, and a wide range of products, the impact of innovative capabilities on competitiveness has increased. The impact is related to the speed of development of products and services. That is why the author believes that special attention should be paid to the explanation of the term "innovation management" as one of the most important elements of the business quality management system, which leads to a high development of the business system in the market.
