Quality Management of Gaseous Products Combustion in a Gas Compressor Unit Using a Selective Catalytic Reduction System

Бесплатный доступ

This study presents the results of implementing a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system in gas transport operations using gas compressor units (GCU) driven by gas turbines. The calculated values of NOx emission power, fl ue gas fl ow rate, and temperature are determined as functions of gas turbine unit (GTU) load and ambient air temperature. The experimental results indicate that 100% NOx removal effi ciency was achieved at 50% of the nominal operating mode for all reagent consumption levels and at 75% of the nominal operating mode for low reagent consumption (0.32-0.36 L/min). At 75% of the nominal mode, the required post-SCR NOx concentration level of 50 mg/m³ was reached (actual concentration: 43-48 mg/m³ with reagent consumption of 0.47-0.48 L/min).
