Managing the quality of the company 's labor potential by reducing transaction costs

The transformation of the national economy necessitates innovative development of economic entities, which cannot be achieved without the proper use of human resources. It is their quality and labor potential that determines the growth of competitiveness and sustainable economic development in the long term. However, maintaining the labor potential at a sufficient level involves a significant amount of transaction costs. This paper proposes to develop recommendations for reducing such costs in order to manage the quality of the company's labor potential. The novelty of the work is to study existing research on transaction costs in the labor environment in order to adapt them to the problems of quality of labor potential. The authors identified the dependence of the quality level of labor potential on various factors. A functional model was also proposed, based on which it is possible to consider the impact of certain types of transaction costs on the dynamics of the quality of labor potential. The practical value of the results obtained consists in the possibility of using the proposed functional model for specific enterprises and industries. It is possible to further study the topic with greater specificity of factors and their adaptation to enterprises, taking into account their industry specifics.
