Quality management in modern conditions of economy functioning

The article considers such terms as «quality» and «quality management» from the point of view of goods competitiveness. It presents the estimation of these categories by foreign and home researchers in the field of quality management. Taking into consideration modern trends in the theory and practice of management the author determines the object of management, analyzes its basic functions, and also formulates her own concept of quality management.
