The article is devoted to the study of the features of skill and training management specialized for security personnel. The relevance of the research stems from the fact that an effective management system for security skills and training is a prerequisite for ensuring the sustainable functionality of organizations and protection of their interests. The primary purpose of this study is to analyze existing methods of management of skills and training in the field of security, as well as to develop recommendations for their optimization. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: to study and evaluate the effectiveness of traditional and modern methods of training employees in the field of security, including theoretical and practical training; to determine which specific skills and knowledge base are critically important for employees in various areas of security. The hypothesis of this study concludes that a systematic approach to security skills management and training contributes to a significant increase in employee’s performance, which in turn reduces the risk of incidents and security breaches. The author comes to the conclusion that the management of skills and training in the field of security is one of the most vital processes that helps to protect interests of the organization or physical person’s interests in the modern world. Proper use of security knowledge and skills will help avoiding problems and maintain the integrity of the information and property.
