This article is devoted to description and valuation of intangible assets, and their role in establishing organization value. The author assessed the intangible assets of an organization that specializes in supplying equipment for power stations, the method proposed by leading foreign economists Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton. It is concluded that this method allows a certain degree of order inside the organization, even small businesses, identify their weaknesses, to assist managers involved in development programs and growth of the organization.
