Management of non-conformity and corrective actions in production in the framework of product quality management

The article discusses the design practices of integrated quality management of the industry product: approaches to the identification and management of non-conforming products; corrective actions are proposed to eliminate the causes of identified non-conformities and prevent their recurrence or not occurring elsewhere, including mitigation of adverse environmental impacts. The existing system of product quality management of an enterprise in the industry is evaluated using the example of a separate business unit: a system of interrelated elements and control procedures; technology for identifying non-conforming products from the point of view of the application of quality gates, the procedure for working with claims and messages of a claim nature of consumers; classic decisions taken by the company’s management to reduce the risk of damage. Based on the results of assessing the effectiveness of the corrective actions taken, changes are made to the documents of the integrated quality management system and the risks and opportunities identified during planning are updated. The calculated data allow us to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the proposed corrective actions for the management of products that do not meet the established requirements on the example of a separate production of the company, provided that the integrated quality management system of the enterprise is sufficiently formed and developed. The results of the study may be of interest to specialists in the quality management system of enterprises in the industry in terms of the formation of methodological support for the procedure for managing nonconformity of products, when developing a draft documented procedure for implementing corrective actions in production.
