The article presents the rationale for using the risk management system to meet the information interests of owners, managers of various levels and other information users. A comprehensive approach to risk management, consisting of four stages, is proposed. Implementation of the strategy of protection against risks that pose a threat to the stable functioning of the company allows you to make timely corrective management decisions, which increases the effectiveness of the business economic security system.
