Controlling the functioning process of the working body of a tillage machine

Бесплатный доступ

In the operation of field work in crop production, a number of operations are used, some of which require significant energy consumption. A special place is occupied by tillage, both basic and surface. Significant traction resistances of the working bodies of tillage machines determine their rigid design, which does not imply changes in the size and orientation of the wedge. However, due to the variability of the mechanical properties of the soil, the direction of the wedge reaction does not coincide with the direction of cleaving the soil layer, which is the reason for increasing the traction resistance of the working body beyond a certain value required for this type of processing. A solution to the problem of reducing traction resistance is to give vibration to the working body. It is necessary to select the frequency and amplitude of vibrations, as well as the direction of the oscillatory motion. For an effective implementation of the oscillatory process, a control system is required that supports optimal parameter values based on the criterion of reducing the traction resistance. The mathematical model of interaction between a wedge and the soil is the basis for describing the control process.
