The article is devoted to the problem of managing the process of professional self-determination among students of a pedagogical college and the role of a curator in this direction. The article analyzes the structure of professional self-determination and priority areas of psychological and pedagogical support. The results of a comprehensive study of professional self-determination of students are given; the features of work on managing this process, which is one of the most difficult aspects of the curator’s activity, are considered. An attempt was made to create a model of the curator’s work on the formation of professional self-determination of students of a pedagogical college. Determination of directions for the formation of professional self-determination in the work of the curator is an urgent issue of the modern educational process. The model reflects the main goal of the curator’s work - the creation of conditions for effective professional self-determination and the formation of a constructive professional perspective for students of a pedagogical college.
