The article discusses the theoretical and methodological prerequisites for managing the development process of elementary mathematical concepts of preschool children in a preschool educational organization. Effective management conditions are: a program to improve the professional competence of kindergarten teachers on the problem of the mathematical development of children of senior preschool age; integrated perspective-thematic plan of work with children of senior preschool age on the research problem; innovative methods and methods of interaction between preschool educational organizations and families; the model of the developing subject-spatial environment of the group, aimed at the development of mathematical representations of preschoolers in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
