The article considers the issues of managing the regional technological policy of industrial development, which is impossible in modern conditions without innovations, primarily without promising scientific research in the fields of engineering and technology. The specifics of St. Petersburg are a large number oflarge industrial enterprises and universities focused on federal orders and the EAEU market, thus helping the Government of St. Petersburg to concentrate more on creating an effective innovative and technological environmentfor small and medium-sized businesses. This article examines the issues of technology policy management in terms of industrial enterprises using the example of St. Petersburg.
