Health risk management to provide health and epidemiological well-being to the population in municipalities (the experience of the Sverdlovsk region)

In the Sverdlovsk region, a system of measures on managing health risks resulting from the impact of socio-economic and health and hygienic risk factors has been implemented. In the social and hygiene monitoring system, target-oriented planning is carried out and goals and objectives, which are unified for local authorities, to provide health and epidemiological well-being and to manage health risks are developed. The study shows economic and social effectiveness as a result of the implementation of the measures and the developed scientifically substantiated proposals for the further development of the regional social and hygiene monitoring system.
