Management of livestock market in the Republic of Buryatia

This paper is devoted to the study of the development of the livestock products market (meat) in modern economic and political conditions of the Russian Federation. The latest archival events that affected the level of food security were economic sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation by the EU countries and the USA. The purpose of this work is to assess the impact of sanctions on the meat and meat products market, as well as to develop recommendations for improving the mechanism for managing food security. Within the framework of this research, the article analyzes the dynamics of the Russian meat market in general and the Republic of Buryatia in particular, in 2014-2016. Based on the data of the analysis, recommendations for managing the industry segments in order to improve _ food security are given.
