Department of physical culture and sports in the Omsk region: problems and prospects of development

The implementation of the national project "Demography" involves the implementation of program activities in several areas. In order to improve the health of the nation, to attract the citizens themselves to the problem of preserving health and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the project "Sport - as a norm of life"is being implemented. The analysis of the interim results of achieving the goals of this project on the example of the Omsk region allowed us to identify a number of problems that hinder the development of physical culture and sports in the region. The article identifies the most obvious and significant problems of managing the sphere of physical culture and sports in the Omsk region, as well as presents promising areas of activity of state authorities in order to improve the studied sphere and the effectiveness of its management.
