Governing social protection system of population of the Republic of Tajikistan

All governments are committed to provide protection of population at the times of difficulties through various social protection programmes. Social protection is considered as governments’ major component for poverty eradication. Thus, unified definition of the term is not yet developed and accepted worldwide. This scientific paper analyzes social protection system of the Republic of Tajikistan and provides a brief overview of its specifics. In particular, it points out necessity to draft and develop an integrated approach to govern social protection system in Tajikistan that focuses on human needs and promotes active participation of person in the implementation process.
