Management of tourist flows on a logistical basis

The article discusses approaches to managing tourist flows on a logistical basis. It is established that the basis for substantiating effective mechanisms for the formation of tourist flows, which are considered as integrated systems of forms, methods and tools for their planning, coordination with types and means of tourist services, as well as monitoring the progress of promotion to the market and the implementation of planned tours, is a process-system approach to the use of the life cycle of tourist services at all levels of management the formation of tourist flows (micro-, meso-, macro-level). This approach assumes synchronization in space and time of the movement of tourist and service flows, which is impossible without effective information support of the mechanisms of formation of these flows. The substantiation of the strategy and tactics of logistics management of tourist enterprises allowed us to develop a hierarchy of management mechanisms of tourist enterprises aimed at ensuring synergetic links that, together with the quality of the tourist product, determine the competitiveness of Russian tourism. The justification of such mechanisms is based on improving the quality of service, which is a priority condition for ensuring the transition of the life cycle of tourist services to an intensive stage of development. It is proved that the theoretical basis for modeling the system of mechanisms for the formation of tourist flows is logistics.
