The article reflects the development of the concept and development strategy of the enterprise based on the assessment of available resources, taking into account the current market situation. The procurement management system is considered as an instrument of the strategic development of the enterprise and improving the quality of food products. The practical significance of the study lies in the ability of food industry enterprises to optimize costs and improve the quality of products when implementing a procurement management program.
