Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the Poles’ reception of Ural and Perm land during the 1940-s repressions which brought them to the Kama Region. It is shown that there was antagonism between the Poles’ worldview and their culture attitudes and the Soviet realias. The Poles did not accept surrounding alien culture. Special attention is given to the problem of the religious and ethnic identity of the Polish exiles. The author makes a conclusion that the "Perm text" of Polish exile memoirs is part of the broader "Siberian epos" of Polish culture.
