Uranium and thorium in the rocks and ores of the gold deposit of Albyn

Бесплатный доступ

It was found that the contents of U and Th in the rocks and ores of the Albyn deposit are lower than in the rocks of the upper continental crust. In the host shales and ores, increased concentrations of arsenic, antimony, molybdenum, gold, niobium and tantalum are noted. A positive correlation was established between thorium and niobium and a group of light rare-earth elements. In turn, uranium correlates with zirconium and hafnium, and of rare-earth elements with ytterbium and lutetium. There is no positive correlation between thorium and uranium. Radioactive elements lack a positive correlation with the main ore and noble elements.
