Rat the level of social development in the regions of Central federal district

The article is devoted to the level of development of the social sphere of the Russian regions. It is noted that at present the social component plays a leading role in the research of various authors. It is proposed to use the indicators presented in the statistical collection “Regions of Russia. Socio-economic indicators” for assessing the level of social regional development. A method for determining the integral indicator of the level of development of the social sphere of the regions has been developed, a computer program has been created to determine its numerical values based on the indicators of the social sphere. The calculated integral indicators for the regions of the Central Federal District are given. Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of using the obtained data to assess and predict the level of development of the social sphere of the regions.
