The soybean productivity and seed quality of the progeny depending on sowing method and seeding rate in the eastern part of Ukrainian forest-steppe

The aftereffect of elements of soybean cultivation technology on formation of productivity qualities and sowing characteristics of seeds was studied under the conditions of the eastern part of Ukrainian Forest-steppe. It was determined that for seed farming sowings of soybean it is possible to use seeds received in cultivation by both row and wide-rod methods of sowing with the seeding rate of 400-800 thousand pieces/ha. The received results indicate that the productivity of studied varieties Romantika and Skel-ya varied within 1.9-2.0 t/ha. In addition, the germination energy and the laboratory germination of seeds were 79-89 % and 91-95 %, respectively. It was determined that methods of sowing and the seeding rate of progeny didn’t have significant influence on protein and oil content in seeds.
