Conditions for a negative corona discharge transition in a glow discharge of the atmospheric pressure in an argon flow

The article experimentally shows a glow discharge of the atmospheric pressure in an argon flow. A detailed analysis of the dynamics of the discharge characteristics is done. It is found out that the empirical criterion of the transition of a negative corona to glow discharge may serve as the formation of the positive column, as well as changes of the reduced current-voltage characteristics.
