Conditional release: problems and trends

In the presented article the authors analyze the trends in the development of conditional release in the Russian Federation at the present stage. There is a decrease in both the total number of applications of convicted persons for conditional release and the number of applications satisfied by the courts. In addition, the article considers the main problems that can be noticed in the study and research of the institute of conditional release. The authors emphasize them in particular, since the institution of conditional release is an important component of the integration of convicts in society and encourages them to comply with the prescribed norms of the law while serving their sentence.
