The article considers the problem of making purchases through the system of electronic commerce. It is shown that, with the development of marketing, consumer desires are increasingly imposed on him from outside. There are convenient tools with the ability to personalize the content of the pages, starting from the moment when the user first visits the online store. Searching through the online store and navigating by product categories imperceptibly push us to commit to a more expensive and profitable business purchase.
