Improvement of technological process of manufacturing details of the type "punch-matrix"

In this article, discuss ways to improve the "punch-matrix" detail. Based on the requirements for the detail, a comparative analysis of three steel grades was made, namely, U10, X6VF, XVG. Optimal steel for the manufacture of the part was chosen. Based on the selected grade of steel, heat treatment, including isothermal annealing, hardening and low tempering, is assigned as an improvement.
