Improved design of a membrane electrolyzer for the production of peroxodisulfuric acid

The article discusses the design of an advanced filter-press electrolyzer for the electrochemical production of peroxodisulfuric acid. Its design features, description of the electrolyzer, as well as its comparison with an analog are given. The influence of the electrolyzer design on the efficiency of peroxodisulfuric acid electrosynthesis is analyzed: current output, average voltage at the electrolyzer, total energy consumption for obtaining a unit of product.
