Success as a factor of human development: the role of the family in the successful development of the child

The author makes particular reference to the importance of personal success in the socialization of a person. The research considers the category of success as a human value, a factor in the successful development of the personality conducive to attaining a certain status in society. It distinguishes the communicative and developing functions of success. The success of a person is measured not so much by his social status as by the obstacles that he overcomes courageously striving for a goal. The differences in the success criteria of the older and younger generations are defined. The author determines the dependence of the quality of personal socialization on the cultural and educational level, social responsibility, and the experience of the parents. The paper discusses the social role of the family in motivating the successful development of the child, the importance of bringing up a successful generation as a guarantee of stable development of the society.
