The article considers the peculiarities of ensuring food security as one of the priority areas of the state activity. This determines the need to increase the level of economic security of the national economy in general and its sectoral complexes in particular, since the long-term priorities for ensuring a balance in the structure of the economic space, which are determined by the totality of subjective and objective factors macro, meso and micro-levels.
