Sustainable development in Eastern Asia: current environmental, geographic and socio-economic problems: international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of higher geographical education and the 60th anniversary of the fundamental geographicаl science in Buryatia (May 17-19, 2018, Ulan-Ude)

At the Buryat State University (Ulan-Ude), an international scientific and practical conference was held dedicated to the 30th anniversary of higher geographical education and the 60th anniversary of the fundamental geographical science in Buryatia "Sustainable Development in East Asia: Current Ecological, Geographical and Socio- economic problems". Representatives of scientific and public organizations, educational institutions, public authorities of the Republic of Korea, China, Mongolia, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, as well as from many cities of Russia from Moscow to Vladivostok took part in the conference. 95 plenary reports were heard and discussed at the plenary and section sessions, as well as 30 poster presentations. The conference materials published 118 articles.
