In this paper we consider the theoretical and methodological approaches underlying the ideas about the mechanisms of stability of the hemodynamic system of humans and animals. It is shown that the thermodynamic system is a self-organizing system, the stability of which is provided by the right-left hemodynamic balance and the space-time organization of the vascular bed. The specificity of the systemic organization of the blood streams of the right and left common carotid arteries, including their peripheral cerebral sections, is established. The role of pseudo-bilateral symmetry and chirality in ensuring the stability of the hemodynamic system is considered.
