Stability of the Reuleaux triangle under normal load

Бесплатный доступ

A figure of constant width is such a figure that the distance between any parallel reference lines is the same. It is clear that a circle has this property, but not only it. The simplest figure of constant width (except for a circle) is the Reuleaux triangle. This work solves the problem of stability of the Reuleaux triangle under normal load. The critical pressure value has been obtained.
