The spectrogram of EEG of occipital brain cortex areas of young men (n=48; 19-21 years old) was examined during the functional probe with light flash stimulation with different frequency 5,10,15 and 20 Hz along with purposeful activity which was modelled with Gorbov-Shulte's computer-aided test in form of red-black tables. It was found that subjects with a high degree of assimilation of the rhythm of light flashes at 10 Hz had a significantly higher initial power of the same range of right and left occipital regions of the cerebral cortex. The power of the ten-Hz EEG potentials of the right and left occipital EEG leads with light stimulation of the same frequency is reliably and positively associated only with the temporal parameters of the targeted activity of the tested subjects.
