Refinement of the methodology for finding the conditional compressive strength CLT perpendicular to the slab plane for tests with different loading rates

In the current standards, the only methodology that allows to determine the conditional compressive strength of cross laminated timber is described in GOST R 59784-2022, but it is not applicable to tests with different loading rates of specimens. It was proposed to change the algorithm for finding the stress, relative to which the line passing through the region of linear deformations is drawn. The application of this method in plotting the load-strain diagram relative to the strains determined by reading the position of the press beam was also criticized. A solution to this problem has been proposed.
