The materials of Kattasai site in Uzbekistan can be related to understudied Mousterian line of Middle Paleolithic development in region. The excavations in 2013 and 2014 gave the possibility to fix the one homogeneous concentration of lithic artifacts in the sediments of site. The treatment had the goal to produce a flakes, points and blades to flat-faced cores. The peculiarities of genesis of sediments clarified in many instances in consequence of work in 2014. Apparently, the archaeological materials from sublayers 4.b and 4.c were associated with underlying paleosoil (layer 5) initially. It formed during the warm and moist climate, which changed by cold period with increased activity of deluvial processes and declined degree of turfness on the slopes. As a result of which the hill wash accompanied by artifacts happened. It is fair to assume that this territory was occupied by population during the period of warm-spell. This time span can be refer to KIS 3 previously.
