This article presents the legal aspect of the dismissal of a civil servant on the grounds of "loss of confidence". The author pays special attention to the problems of legal regulation of this institution. Possible ways to overcome the shortcomings of the legal regulation of the institute of dismissal due to loss of trust are also given.
